THEME:  WITH FAITH YOU CAN DO GREAT THINGS

Greetings beloved people of God. I welcome you to "My Catholic Homily Digest". On this First day of February, I wish to reflect with you on the theme: " With Faith You Can Do Great Things". Beloved, I wish to congratulate and welcome you to the month of February. I pray that as you walk in the statute of the Lord this month, you shall experience abundant of blessings and favours in all that concerns you. Oh yes, the man of faith shall do mighty works says the Lord of host. Beloved in Christ, have you taken time to reflect on the reason why some people fail, while others achieve and succeed in almost everything they do. The reason is this, most times, those who fail, often see obstacles everywhere, while those who succeed, see potential opportunities in every situation. Many great men and women of history, who impacted positively in the world, were mainly people of great faith and courage, who blazed the odds feared by many others. Thus, the fainthearted, fearful and doubtful, can hardly please the lord or do extraordinary things.

In the first reading of today, the author of the letter to the Hebrews, praised several great men and prophets of old, for having the courage to do what was right even if it was unpopular. It was their undying faith in God and in his promises, that made them to endure all kinds of bodily pain, sacrifice, torture and deprivation, because they know the course they are fighting for. As Christians, we ought to be people of faith, because without faith, we  cannot access the arsenal of God's mighty help. Often times, what we do in faith may appear irrational, foolish or unpopular in the eyes of men. It may even make us to lose certain temporal material benefit. But if we remain firm and courageous, them we shall receive the mightiest of all benefit.

Child of God, as we begin the second month of this year, February today, I want you to garner all the faith you can. I want you to be courageous. I want you to dispel all forms of fear and doubt within you. I want you to trust completely in God's divine providence, protection and provision. I want you to confront that your fears, I want you to take that risk, I want you to speak that truth, I want you to dare to dream big, I want you to undertake that challenge, I want you expect something great, and I want you believe in yourself and in the God who have the powers to do infinitely above more than we can ever think of, ask for or imagine (Cf. Eph. 3:20).

Oh that today you would listen to his voice harden not your hearts (Ps.95:7-8)

LET US PRAY : Lord Jesus, help me to trust completely in your grace and dispel all projection of fears from the evil legion in me....

The Lord be with you....... and with your Spirit.

May Almighty God bless you in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit......Amen

HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU  MY BELOVED FRIEND AND I PRAY THAT THIS MONTH WILL BRING MANY TESTIMONIES YOU WAY

@ Fada Emmanuel Nnamdi Megwara, MSP.
